An upcoming romance war drama marking the directorial debut of Academy Award winning actress Angelina Jolie, who also wrote the screenplay. The film was made entirely with a local cast, and scenes were shot simultaneously in English and the Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian language known as BHS, so there will be a version of the film in each language. The cast includes Goran Kostic, Zana Marjanovic, Rade Serbedzija, Branko Djuric, Nikola Djuricko, Jasna Beri, Dolya Gavanski and Milos Timotijevic. It is a love story set during the Bosnian War, focuses on a young Serbian man (Kostic) and a Bosnian-Muslim woman (Marjanovic) who begin a romance before the ethnic war of 1992 pulls them apart and ravages the former Yugoslavia.
