An anthology film featuring Val Kilmer as an oddball motivational speaker who thought “arson was cool.” It is divided into three short films with each directed by Jan Kwiecinski, Aleksey Fedorchenko. Korine’s film is the one that features Kilmer.
The three shorts follow a motivational speaker named Val Kilmer (played by Val Kilmer) delivering a sermon at a roller rink, a Russian scientist building a time machine in his apartment, and four friends who stumble upon an abandoned village in the Polish countryside. All of the shorts deal with the search for the fourth dimension — whether the characters know it or not.
The film will have its world premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival on April 20th before screening in the Viewpoints program of the Tribeca Film Festival on April 24th.
