GREAT EXPECTATIONS is an adaptation of the beloved Charles Dickens’ novel of the same name, written by David Nicholls and directed by Mike Newell (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time). The cast includes Ralph Fiennes plays the escaped convict Magwitch, Helena Bonham Carter as Miss Havisham, and Jeremy Irvine (War Horse) as Pip, the young hero of the story. Holliday Grainger (The Borgias), Robbie Coltrane, Sally Hawkins, David Walliams, and Jason Flemyng also star in this drama about a young orphan whose life is enriched thanks to a mysterious benefactor. It is set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next month.
