BEAUTIFUL CREATURES is an upcoming 2013 supernatural romance film written and directed by Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King, Water for Elephants, P.S. I Love You), based upon the first of three novels by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It stars two young leads - Alden Ehrenreich (Tetro, Twixt) and newcomer Alice Englert, with Jeremy Irons, Viola Davis, Emmy Rossum, and Emma Thompson.

The film tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers: Ethan (Ehrenreich), a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (Englert), a mysterious new girl. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town.
