SPOOKS: THE GREATER GOOD is an upcoming action thriller film which is the big screen spin-off of the BAFTA-winning BBC spy series Spooks (known as MI-5 in some countries). Bharat Nalluri (Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day) is directing the script co-written by Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent.
Peter Firth reprises his role as Harry Pearce, who appeared in all ten series of the programme. Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington and Jennifer Ehle also star in the film, with Tuppence Middleton, Tim McInnerny, Elyes Gabel, and Eleanor Matsuura round out the supporting cast.
When charismatic terrorist Adam Qasim (Gabel) escapes from MI5 custody during a high profile handover, the legendary Harry Pearce (Firth), Head of Counter-terrorism, is blamed.
