Debut Trailer for Bo Burnham’s Acclaimed Sundance Comedy EIGHTH GRADE

EIGHTH GRADE is a comedy film written and directed by Stand-up comedian Bo Burnham, in his directorial debut. It was premiered as part of the U.S. Dramatic Competition section of the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and received positive reviews from critics.

In the film, thirteen-year-old Kayla (Elsie Fisher) endures the tidal wave of contemporary suburban adolescence as she makes her way through the last week of middle school—the end of her thus far disastrous eighth grade year—before she begins high school.
